Utility stars in our final feature from Volume Bomb IX, and delivered one of the best all-around performances from this year’s festival, live from Space Room Lounge on 8/26/23. This heavy-groove duo hit the ears somewhere between Kyuss and The Black Keys, producing more sound and power with just two members than many can muster with a four-piece line-up. Together, they prove that a solid rhythm section provides all the backbone a hard rock band needs.
They’ll be playing @honeylattecafe on Nov 2nd, and their 2019 debut, Utility, is a must-listen on Spotify or the streaming service of your choice (“New Believer” is a personal favorite track).
