Mauve are the kind of artists I went in search of when PDX Presents was founded. Pure passion. Rage. Fun. This Friends of Noise show took place at JaJa PDX on Feb. 11th and also featured Teeth, New Injuries and Gated Community (photos on the way.) They just might be what the cool kids are into 20 years from now, and can most certainly claim that title today. Mauve has shows coming up 3/3 at Mission Theater with @GrowingPainsPDX and @CommonGirlBand, and 3/4 at Black Water with @RhododendronPDX & @Twistur_. Be there, or be left out of the #PortlandMusicScene in 2023.
